Who we are
What we do
Tunisia has the 4th highest number of olive trees, also is the 4th highest producer of Olive Oil in the world, with over 200,000 tons of olive oil produced from 1993 to 2019. Tunisia has over 65 million olive trees sustainably grown on 1,680,000 ha, most of which are certified organic.
Olive Wood is known as hard, strong, durable, anti-bacterial and eco-friendly. It is refreshingly natural when too many kitchen products are made of synthetic materials that can be harmful to our health and to our environment. Olive Wood is unique, each piece has its own character with stunning grain and texture pattern, no two are ever alike. Our handcrafting process is strictly chemical-free and therefore food safe, our products are all handmade from pure and only one piece of olive wood, strictly no glue is being used. We finish our products with smooth sanding then wiped with food-grade oil.
A big thanks to all our artisans for their hard work and dedication to handmade such stunning products, we are not
only paying them fairly but also helping them improve their skills, increase standards of living and create secure and sustainable livelihoods for future generations, that is one of the main reasons we have succeeded and improved through the years.
In addition to products listed on our website, we are open to any idea you might suggest, basically we can make anything out of olive wood, just try us!
Our customers are from all over the world; we do business with restaurants, hotels, department stores, homeware and gift shops, e-commerce platforms, interior designers and the list is long. The farthest customer we serve is Dusit Hotel, from the beautiful Island of Guam, we are very pleased to see our products standing on that far side of the planet.
